How can my video be used as a marketing tool?

Your video can be used on your website, video sharing sites (ie. Youtube), emails, blogs, social media pages (ie. Facebook, Twitter).

With more people accessing the internet on their mobile devices, it is easier for them to watch a video then trying to read static information on a small screen. Your video is a versatile marketing tool that doesn’t cost anything to distribute across multiple marketing channels 24/7.

Your video can increase your overall ranking in search engine results. Consider this, Youtube is owned by Google and both of them are the two most popular search engines in the world. If you don’t have videos to promote your business, you’re missing out on being found by your potential customers.

Do I need many videos?

This really depends on what you are trying to achieve. However, over time, it is recommended that you add to your initial video so as to build your following and reputation. Just like you wouldn’t place a single printed ad in the paper and hope to continuously get new clients from it, you need to have an online strategy that includes more than a single video.

That said, we strongly recommend quality or quantity. Contents are what will make your video popular so don’t just produce many videos with average or dull contents for the sake of having many videos.

We can help you plan a marketing video strategy to fit your business and budget. Talk to us to see how we can help you become a trusted expert in your industry through marketing videos.

How long should my video be?

According to Google stats, two minutes or less seem to be the ideal length of an online marketing video. After that, the viewers’ attention span starts to drop dramatically. However, you need to know what you’re trying to achieve and sometimes you may be able to go under and sometimes over. That is fine as long as the content is engaging and the pace is balanced.

Consider breaking up long videos into smaller episodes (or webisodes as they call it). If your first video manages to engage your audience, they will invariably watch the other ones.

What can I expect to see in my video?

After we have discussed the project brief with you, we will recommend what your video should include. Generally, we will have to do a live shoot, either on location or at a studio. We will then complement the live footage with graphics, animations, photos, royalty free music track and professional voiceover where required.

We will endeavour to make your video unique to your brand or personality and make it stand out from your competitors. We are not a cookie-cutter video production company. Your video will be highly personalised.

Do I get to review my video before it is completed and goes live?

Yes, we want you to be involved in every step of the reviewing process so you are completely happy with the end product. You will be sent a private link to review your video at various draft stages so you can provide us with valuable feedback. The sooner you can review and give us feedback, the faster we can complete the job for you.

How will I get my finished video?

We are totally flexible! If you are familiar with video sharing websites and would like to upload the video yourself and embed it into your website, we can send it to you using an online storage platform (Yousendit or DropBox).

If you prefer us to upload the video and to simply receive instructions on how to embed it into your website or anywhere else, we will send you a simple set of instructions on how to do it.

What if I don’t like being on camera?

It is very common for us to hear this comment from some of our new clients. We agree with you it’s not a straight-forward task to simply talk with ease in front of a camera lens. Cameras don’t have eyes and can’t nod at what you’re saying.

Don’t fret, we are great at making the whole experience completely stress free. We have interviewed thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds in various locations so we know how to make it work.

Alternatively, there are other solutions that don’t require you to be in front of the camera. Please have a look at our work pages to see the different options you could consider. However, if personal branding is important to your business, we still recommend you to talk to your audience and make a connection with them in the video.

Can I provide my own footage or pictures?

Certainly! Anything you can provide us will help personalise your video to your liking. It may also lower the cost of production and we will transparent about it when discussing costs with you.

We reserve the right to check the format and quality of your footage and pictures before incorporating them into the video. We aim for a high quality finish and your footage should be at a standard we deem acceptable to use.

Can I choose any music soundtrackto use in my video?

As long as they are not copyrighted and you are allowed to use them, yes.

Just be aware that if your video contains copyrighted soundtracks, Youtube may mute your video or prevent it from playing altogether in some or all countries.

To alleviate this problem, we recommend purchasing royalty-free music. There are many sites out there selling very good soundtracks for a reasonable price.
